About this Website

The purpose of the FOSC Kids Pages is to create an interactive learning environment for youth in the Sausal Creek Watershed.  We hope that other students will find the website informational and inspiring.  We welcome your comments and suggestions.

The creation of FOSC Kids Pages was funded by a grant from Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).  The project was initiated by Susan Piper, Policy Analyst for Oakland City Councilwoman Jean Quan, as Coordinator of the Sausal Creek Environmental Council.  Much of the content was developed by Helene Moore, Joaquin Miller Elementary School's Computer Lab Teacher, and her students.  We are thankful for the funding and hard work that went into this group effort.

Initial website design was provided by Gayton Design.  Final design and programming was provided by Digital Topography Studios.
